[Basketball] TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO (seat view, food, etc.)

Hello everyone!
Today, we’ll be sharing information about watching sports at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO, the home stadium of the newly formed B.League team Alvark Tokyo, which will be playing from the 2025-26 season.

I first went to see a game in September 2025, a preseason match against Nagasaki Velca. I went to see Kai Toews, a member of the Japanese men’s basketball team! I also went to see the Alvark Tokyo vs. Yokohama B-Corsairs game in December 2025, after the stadium officially opens.

I’ve summarized the points I noticed during that time, so I hope it will be helpful for everyone who will be enjoying watching basketball at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO in the future.
Many other concerts are also held here, and it will apparently be the venue for Ame Talk!’s Arena Live on May 5, 2026!

This article is recommended for the following people:
1. Want to know what kind of place TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO is?
2. Things to be aware of when watching sports at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO
3. Want to know about access to TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO and information about the surrounding area

What you need to prepare in advance

Drink

There are many food and drink stalls inside the arena!
There are also many food trucks lined up outside the arena, so it’s definitely an arena where you can enjoy gourmet food. This time, to enjoy my first game at this arena, I went around the gourmet shops and then had a hamburger.

As of October 1, 2025, food and drink purchased outside the venue are limited to snack boxes small enough to fit in your pocket. Candy, gum, and tablets are allowed to be brought in.
Items sold by the food trucks just outside the arena are allowed to be brought in, but please note that regular takeout food and drinks purchased from supermarkets or convenience stores are not allowed.

Regarding drinks, you can bring your own bottles and plastic bottles (must be less than 1 liter capacity) under certain conditions , so you can bring them with you without worry.
There are drink vending machines inside the arena, but they are more expensive than buying them at regular supermarkets or convenience stores, so we recommend bringing your own drinks in advance .
For more information, we recommend checking the latest information on the Alvark Tokyo website.

[Important] Cashless payment methods (Credit card,Suica, PayPay, etc.)

Cash is not accepted and the facility is basically cashless only, so be sure to prepare cashless payment methods before heading to the arena!
Credit cards are of course accepted, but we recommend that you do not forget to charge your Suica or PASMO card or QR code payment system such as PayPay before heading to the arena .

Binoculars

Even if you sit in the back, you should be able to enjoy the show without binoculars , but
having binoculars would be even more convenient.

Getting to TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO

Access

– The venue is conveniently located near the station, a 4-minute walk from Aomi Station on the Yurikamome Line
and a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Teleport Station on the Rinkai Line .

There is also a bus rotary in front of Tokyo Teleport Station, and you can also access the area by bus from Monzen-Nakacho, Toyocho, Shimbashi Station, etc.

Nearby convenience stores and restaurants

When I walked from Tokyo Teleport Station, I think there were vending machines at the station, but I don’t remember there being any convenience stores along the way.

The arena is located in the heart of the area known as “Odaiba.”
DiverCity Tokyo is located near the arena, and there are many convenient places to eat and drink before and after the event.

Also, depending on your stamina for watching basketball, next to the arena there is the City Circuit Tokyo Bay, where you can enjoy a circuit experience, and Immersive Fort Tokyo, where you can have an immersive experience, so you can be sure to enjoy other activities as well.

When I went there in December 2025, illuminations were being held in the Odaiba area, and both TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO and the surrounding facilities were lit up with lights, creating a beautiful night view.

If you want to watch basketball and experience other activities, TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO is definitely a fun venue !

TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO facility information

TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO capacity

According to the official website, TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO has a capacity of over 10,000 people. It
is a large and impressive venue among the B.League venues in the Tokyo metropolitan area that have their own facilities.

Production at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO

The visual effects are synchronized with the offensive and defensive situations of the basketball, which is very fun.
There were many variations in the visual effects for both “offense” and “defense,” which was impressive.
Since TOYOTA ARENA is used not only for basketball games but also for many concerts, it seemed like they had invested a lot in the equipment used for the effects.

Apparently, the opening concert was a live performance by Official Hige Dandism.
As this venue will be hosting concerts by popular artists such as TVXQ’s Changmin and Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu in the future, we can expect the production to become even more powerful.

There are also decorations featuring Alvark Tokyo’s mascot character, Luke, inside and outside the arena, as well as cute designs that children will love.
Luke is so cute, he’s very soothing.

Toilets within the facility

It’s a state-of-the-art facility built in 2025, so there are plenty of options, and it’s clean and tidy.
I think it’s okay to go there just before the game or during halftime.

Food and beverage sales within the facility

When I went to watch the game in September 2025, I had the “Double Clutch Burger” for 1,100 yen (tax included) at the restaurant “A’s BITES” inside the arena. It was a delicious sweet and spicy burger filled with yangnyeom chicken, and it’s a dish I’d like to order again.
I think I’ll be hooked on yangnyeom chicken in my everyday life for a while…
My companion had the “100% Beef A’s Burger” for 1,300 yen (tax included), and they also commented that the meat was juicy and delicious.

Also, when I went to watch a match in December 2025, I went to the Hatago Aomi, which I had been interested in, and tried the “Otowayama Stable Supervised Salt Chanko x Hatago Enmusubi Set” for 1,100 yen (tax included).
The salt chanko, with plenty of chicken and vegetables, warmed me up. Unlike the junky food that is common in arena gourmet, this is a recommended dish for when you want to eat something healthy at the arena.

TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO offers its own original craft beer, and as for the alcohol menu, Suntory is also a prominent food and beverage outlet, making this an arena that even drinkers can enjoy.
As for the taste of the craft beer, “Alvark Beer,” I personally found it quite bitter, even though I’m used to drinking beer.

While wandering around the venue, I came across a booth offering a “THERMOS” drink container reuse service. They offered free beer reusable containers, though you had to complete the application process via smartphone. If you brought one
of these tumblers with you to purchase Suntory draft beer, you were given a small discount.
However, when I visited in September, they did n’t serve original craft beer in these tumblers , so if you want to drink original craft beer, it’s best to check before deciding whether or not to borrow one.
It was an environmentally conscious initiative I’d never seen at other venues, so I thought it was interesting.
Now you can keep drinking ice-cold beer throughout the game.
According to the website, only 250 bottles are available per game , so if you’re interested, I recommend arriving at the arena early.

In addition, THERMOS is running projects that take the SDGs into consideration, such as a campaign to promote the use of personal bottles, allowing customers to accumulate points that can be exchanged for merchandise, and a campaign to collect used stainless steel thermoses, which is great.

View from the seat

View from the 4th floor side (behind the home bench)

It’s easy to see even from the 4th floor seats.

These are the seats where I watched the game after purchasing a general ticket.
From the 4th floor seats, I could see the whole game, and it didn’t feel too far from the court, so it was very easy to see.
The ticket price was 4,000 yen each, which wasn’t cheap, but the viewing environment was comfortable, so I think it was worth it.
All the seats were leather, so they were extremely comfortable!
Since the seats were so comfortable, I would definitely like to go and watch another game.
The first time I watched the game, I was in the 4th row on the 4th floor side, and the second time, I was in the 1st row, and the viewing environment in the 1st row was amazing!

The second time I went to watch a game was on December 10th, 2025 against the Yokohama B-Corsairs. I watched from the away side cheering for the B-Corsairs, but the seats around me were full of B-Corsairs fans, so I was able to enjoy cheering and watching the game, and it was a lot of fun!

Toyota Arena Tokyo was so much fun that I ended up spending more than usual…
The price of tickets to watch a match depends on the match rank, but if you eat lunch or dinner, it seems like it will cost between 1,500 and 2,500 yen including food and drink.
Since bringing food and drink into the arena is generally not allowed, go to the match expecting to have to pay for food and drink.
If you want to save on food and drink, we recommend eating before the match.

Summary

Good points

1. All seats are leather, so the seating is super comfortable !
2. The visual effects get you excited ! The mascot character “Luke” is so cute!
3. The arena food is of high quality.

Points to note

There’s nothing special about Thermos except that you can’t choose the type of beer when renting a tumbler.

There are also lounges and VIP box seats, which can be exchanged for JAL(Japan Airlines) miles, so if you have saved up a lot of miles, you should definitely try the VIP area. The
family room seats, which are easy to watch with small children, are also intriguing.
TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO is already showing signs of daily evolution.
There is no doubt that it is an arena where away team fans can enjoy themselves while experiencing the Tokyo atmosphere.
We look forward to seeing TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO evolve in the future!
